Another recent study, like the focus on cholesterol, struck me as it shows how so many “scientist” are so focused on the trees! So focused that a huge thing out there, like a forest or the real cause of all these symptoms like elevated cholesterol, is invisible.

So, this study showed that for every hour of sleep you miss it increases the chance of metabolic syndrome by 27%. 1 Metabolic syndrome appears to start and continue because of chronic inflammation. 2

Chronic inflammation as I have been arguing in this series of blog posts leads to calcium issues leading to osteoporosis and atherosclerosis. But what is causing the lack of sleep? You guessed it, which leads us to my major point that low blood levels of vitamin D3, sub optimal are killing us.

Would exercising help? Yes! But if your sleep deprived, overweight and compensating for how bad you feel mentally and/or physically by smoking, drinking alcohol or other bad behaviors it is difficult to start exercising. Some can and do but it is incredibly difficult, and way more than it should be.

What about eating better? Well If your food is full of things that kill you good gut flora and lack essential nutrients. That is not enough. No, I am going to explain that and not leave you hanging too long but that will be explained again in next series of blog posts in July.

These effect not just physical but also our and our family’s mental health. Those of you who are reading this get it. As you are looking for a way to “feel” better. You are essentially looking for a way to self-treat/ self-medicate.

To take some vitamin, mineral or supplement, some physical exercise or some diet change to help improve your health. Which will affect, both your physical and mental health. As you’re on your own as most medical doctors, according to their thinking, they are in the right.

As again haven’t they told patients like the one above and perhaps you or someone in your family for years all you must do is change. Change your/their diet, exercise and get more sleep. Then when you go out and educate yourself learning it is not that simple. What do they often do? They criticize you.

Then if you don’t educate yourself nor exercise, increase your sleep and change your diet? The doctors have an answer for that. The doctor(s) claim your ill because you are noncompliant. They feel justified by thinking it’s not my fault they are still ill as they don’t listen.

Further justifying their thinking by telling themselves “if only the patient would have listened, they wouldn’t be so ill and requiring so many medicines.” This is however an extremely limited way to look at it. We the patient, those that are ill are stuck in this Catch 22 mentality.

It is not completely the medical doctor’s fault as much of modern medical training does a great job brainwashing us. Some of us resisted. In my experience, when I practiced medicine the good physicians used common sense.

See if they prescribed or recommended something and then in almost all or all cases it did not work, they modified their approach. No matter what the “research or facts dictated”. What is the definition of insanity? Yea who is insane in that picture.

The doctor who keeps prescribing the same “treatment” of diet, exercise and increased sleep that continues to fail. I am not saying preventative medicine nor vitamin D3 will cure or prevent all diseases, but it will make a huge impact. Then we will be left with a much smaller group who didn’t respond.

A much smaller group to try to figure out what is missing. A much easier problem to solve. That is why we must break out of this endless loop. The human body god made is an amazing thing. It is really health if we take care of it.
