An eye-opening look at Vitamin D3

I didn't expect to learn about history, geography, indigenous peoples, and the seasons from this book, but in relating the optimal dose of Vitamin D3, Dr. Somerville expertly weaves together that information with scientific data and the experiences of his patients. He speaks not only as a physician, but also as a patient, and that dual perspective makes this book all the more interesting. I purchased the book some time ago, and held off writing a review until I could put into practice the recommendation that he makes regarding the optimal dose of Vitamin D. Several months later, I can report a definitive improvement in my sleep, and for that, I am grateful. The book exceeded my expectations by exploring this topic in such great depth. It's a solid read that held my attention from beginning to end. Highly recommended.
